Cumberland Salvage Inc. was started in 1965 by Jerald Copp Sr.  In the beginning, Cumberland Salvage Inc. was a small, privately owned business with very few vehicles.  It was the start of what is now one of the largest Auto Salvage Yards in the State of Maine.  Cumberland Salvage Inc. is currently owned and operated by Jerald Copp Jr. and his son. The current location occupies 15 acres and has over 1200 vehicles of all makes and models, from Geo Metro to Mercedes-Benz and Range Rovers. 

Cumberland Salvage Inc. specializes in the sale of guaranteed quality used auto parts. Our auto parts inventory is tracked through our computer database.  Every vehicle goes through an extensive inventory process, in which all inventoried parts are tested before removal.  We have over 20,000 square feet

of warehouse space used to store our used auto parts.  All parts are tagged and given a specific location in our well-organized warehouse.  Cumberland Salvage Inc. also has access to aftermarket and refurbished car parts, along with access to other salvage yards nationwide via several parts locating systems.

Cumberland Salvage’s business philosophy is one that has been passed down through the generations.  It started with Jerald Copp Sr., who believed that hard work and customer satisfaction is key to a successful business.  He always tried to be fair and honest.  This business philosophy continues with Jerald Jr., his son and the entire staff at Cumberland Salvage Inc.  We stand behind our parts with a 90 day guarantee. We try to help our customers in any way we can, as customer satisfaction is our #1 priority.
